STATUS IN INDIA

Taekwondo sport is not an Indian sport but being Korea sport it has got a place in Indian games. Taekwondo sport recognized by Indian Government in 1988 and adopted by Indian Olympic in 1985. And Student Olympic Association India accepted Taekwondo sport in 2014.

Today Taekwondo sport has achieved recognition, name & fame like other games. Because this sport is being played in India for long time. That’s way you can find the players of Taekwondo not only in every city & village but in every house. The people of India like this Taekwondo sport very much and consider it a important sport. Because this sport is such a sport, due to that a person not only remain physically fit but also learns the art of self-defence along with play. Today in India this sport should have been a great game.

But different Organizations were supposed to boost up the level of Taekwondo; they took it as a business inspite of a great game. Taekwondo Players/Instructor and Referees did not have respect & honor due to politics of Organizations. Taekwondo was not brought opposite to the people as it should have been brought. Taekwondo sport is played for a long time but it has not got the status it required. By considering all these shortcomings Indian Taekwondo Board was formed to fulfill the needs of Taekwondo sport and to uplift Taekwondo in India and sports world with all Taekwondo Players, Referees & Instructor. In Indian Taekwondo Board are provided respect & honor to players/Instructors/Referees according to their hard work.

GOVT. OF INDIA

Taekwondo sport is recognized by the Indian Government. It is recognized like other sports and all benefits are available in India. Taekwondo sport was recognized in 1988 by the India Government. Indian Government gave right to learn Taekwondo art and choose it as a career to youth & children and gave respect and honour to the Taekwondo players like other Game players or The players the right to adopt Taekwondo as sport and honour the player like other games.

Para Taekwondo Association(India) is registered Board under Registration act Government of India.

INDIAN OLYMPIC

Indian Olympic Association accepted Taekwondo sport in 1985 earlier from Indian Government. Indian Government recognized Taekwondo sport in 1988. After the recognition from Indian Government and Indian Olympic Association Taekwondo sport has become apart India Olympic Games and after wards it was brought in school and colleges.

Indian Olympic Association, State Olympic and District Olympic Association provide every benefits and honour to the Taekwondo sport like other sports. After recognized by Indian Olympic Association & Government of India, all the facilities were provided to this Game.
